THOUSANDS of delighted fans were welcomed back to the Amex last night for a Tuesday night clash with the newly-crowned champions. For the first time this year, about 8,000 supporters watched from the stands as the Albion played Premier League champions Manchester City. The Hove seafront venue has been closing its roof with customers inside amid bad weather. Pictures showing people inside the building with the roof closed were circulated on social media, prompting complaints the venue was not following coronavirus safety measures. Caxton Arms pub in Brighton CAN now open its beer garden

AFTER a tumultuous few days of toing and froing, a Brighton landlord has now been told he can open his beer garden if he makes several amendments. Brett Mendoza of the Caxton Arms in North Gardens said he was told by council officers that he was unable to welcome customers back this week as the space at the rear of the building was "not Covid compliant". A TAXI company is working to bring an end to the pandemic – one vaccination at a time. City Cabs in Brighton and Hove is offering free taxi rides to the Brighton Racecourse vaccination site for the over 80s – if they are living in Brighton.
