Boy, 2, drowns in July 4 accident

Photo by Brian Petersheim Jr. A two-year-old boy drowned Sunday during a family gathering in the back yard of a Desert Cedars home, according to police. Police said the toddler was allegedly left unattended in a flotation device in the pool with other children around at a home in the 44000 block of West Windrose Drive, but the device flipped over.
