Newmont Musselwhite: A pretty exciting place to work
One hundred percent owned and operated by mining giant Newmont, and located about 500 kilometres north of Thunder Bay on the traditional territory of North Caribou Lake First Nation, the Musselwhite mine commenced commercial production in 1997. Today, the mine employs about 1,000 full-time employees and contractors.
