Ex-Steelers star Troy Polamalu reveals positive virus test a week before Hall of Fame enshrinement CANTON, Ohio -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu said on social media Friday that he recently tested positive for COVID-19, a week before he's due to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Slater played for Iowa between 1918 and 1921. He was the Black student-athlete in school history to earn All-America honors.
