Radio review: Maura Derrane on The Nine O'Clock Show can be the cure for RTÉ's post-Tubridy blues
Now it is Maura Derrane’s turn to take over the haunted territory of The Nine O’Clock Show (RTÉ Radio 1), and it is no easy task. Oliver Callan has done his duty — very well — and back in the mists of memory, Ryan Tubridy did it so well that this slot in the schedules was named after him. But that was before the summer, as people in RTÉ euphemistically put it.
