Government expects to sign Pfizer contract soon

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) yesterday reported five local COVID-19 cases — four in Tainan and one in Taipei. Centers for Disease Control Deputy Director-General Philip Lo (羅一鈞), deputy head of the CECC’s medical response division, said the Taipei case lives in the same household as his younger sister, who was on Saturday confirmed to have the virus. Taiwan yesterday recorded three new domestic COVID-19 cases, all of whom were connected to an employee at a buffet restaurant in Kaohsiung, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said. The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) yesterday reported two new domestic COVID-19 cases, including a woman in Kaohsiung whose source of infection is unknown.
