In Österreich fehlen laut Wirtschaftskammer (WKÖ) bis zu 8.000 Lkw-Fahrer. Der Personalmangel wird sich aber noch weiter verschärfen: Von den derzeit rund 100.000 berechtigten Lenkerinnen und Lenkern werden in den kommenden zehn Jahren 20 Prozent in Pension gehen, hieß es von WKÖ zur "Kleinen Zeitung" (Donnerstagsausgabe).
