CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF MINA — Deputies stopped a vehicle on Mann Road in the town of Mina for speeding around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The operator was identified as Emilee A. Carlson, 28, of Clymer, and an investigation found her to be impaired by drugs. It was also found that Carlson’s privileges to operate a motor vehicle in New York state had been suspended. Carlson was taken into custody and further investigation found her to be in possession of methamphetamines and concentrated cannabis. After processing, she was released with appearance tickets. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF ≤ GERRY — A town resident has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment after an incident late Friday. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of a disorderly person inside a residence on Route 60 just before midnight. Upon arrival and investigation, it was discovered that Drake F. Ottaway, 19, had struck a juvenile subject during an altercation. At 7 a.m., members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 965 Henry St., Sunset Bay, Hanover, and found Josue Baez, 32.
