Fans of Zack Snyder better get ready to see a unique return from the filmmaker to his debut genre as Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for Army of the Dead, an action heist pic set in Las Vegas during a large zombie outbreak.
Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead remake penned by James Gunn ( The Suicide Squad). The project found new life at Netflix in 2019, with the streaming platform greenlighting a reported $70-90 million budget and swiftly partnering with Snyder to build a franchise around the film, including a prequel feature helmed by Schweighöfer centered on his character, which wrapped filming in December, and an anime series also set prior to the events of the film. Army of the Dead is set to hit select theaters and Netflix on May 21.
