Fort McMurray Adds 12 COVID-19 Cases & 11 Recoveries, Active Total In Rural Areas Goes Slightly Down

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced on Tuesday 456 new cases across the province. This raises the provincial total to 117,767 with 11,096 currently active. There are also 740 Albertans in the hospital for the virus, 119 of which are in ICUs. Locally, Fort McMurray added 12 new cases and 11 additional recoveries which raises the active total to 169.
