Dacoit killed in police encounter July 10, 2021 KHANEWAL: A dacoit was killed during a police encounter while two other dacoits managed to flee at Chak 87/15-L, Mian Channu, on Thursday. Chab Kalan police tried to stop three dacoits riding on a motorcycle at a picket near Mian Channu, but they started firing on the police. The police also retaliated. As a result, dacoit Sanaullah was killed while his two accomplices managed to escape. A pistol with bullets was recovered from the killed dacoit. The killed dacoit was involved in over two dozen cases and had killed M Aslam during a cattle theft bid a day ago. DPO Muhammad Ali Waseem hailed the performance of the police team. ....
