DRIVERS will need to follow diversions when a main route to Worcester city centre closes later this week. Hallow's Main Road is due to close from Thursday (July 22) until Wednesday, September 1 so sewer pipes can be connected to the new housing development. It is set to cause major disruption for motorists though Worcestershire County Council said the work had been planned during the summer holidays to minimise issues.
