Here's to eco-conscious Chaturthi preparations
Nearly 600 students from 15 schools and 10 colleges in the Malleswaram area will gather on Saturday to celebrate the festival in an eco-friendly manner and will carve out Ganesha idols under supervision. After the event, students will either take them to their homes or use the clay for other artwork, such as pottery.
