An industrialist who has set up a home bar, on the condition of anonymity, said that people are still not aware of the permissible limit of alcohol that one can maintain at home, and for such awareness sessions should be held.
A senior officer of the UT excise and taxation department said, “Usually, it is the contractor who has to identify the site and department approves it. This is the norm basically.”
