ठाणे (वार्ताहर) : महापालिकेच्या कारभाराबाबत ऐकावे तेवढे थोडेच आहे. त्यातच बेकायदेशीर अभिनेत्रीला लस दिल्याचा प्रकार असो किंवा एकाच महिलेला १५ मिनिटांत कोरोना लस देताना तीन वेळा सुई टोचल्याचा प्रकार असो… त्या पाठोपाठ आणखी एक धक्कादायक प्रकार समोर आला. चंद्रशेखर देसाई नामक शिक्षकाला चक्क त्यांच्याच मृत्यूचा दाखला तयार असल्याचा एक फोन ठाणे महापालिकेतून आला आहे. या फोनमुळे देसाई कुटुंबाला नाहक मनस्तापाला तोंड द्यावे लागत आहे.
घोडबंदर रोडवरील मानपाडा येथे राहणारे चंद्रशेखर देसाई (५५) हे गेल्या २० वर्षांपासून ठाण्यात वास्तव्यास असून ते मुंबईतील घाटकोपर येथील शाळेत शिक्षक आहेत. ८० वर्षीय आई, पत्नी आणि तीन मुलांसह ते ठाण्यात राहत असताना ऑगस्ट २०२० मध्ये ते कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह झाले. मात्र लक्षणे गंभीर नसल्याने आणि त्यांच्या मित्राची खोली रिकामी असल्याने डॉक्टरांच्या सल्ल्यानुसार ते होमक्वारंटाईन झाले. शासनाच्या नियमावली नुसार ते १४ दिवस होमक्वारंटाईन होते. त्यानंतर सर्व काही व्यवस्थित सुरू असताना, ते मंगळवारी शाळेत महत्त्वाचे काम करत असताना अचानक दुपारी साडेबाराच्या सुमारास एक फोन आला. फोन उचलताच समोरून त्यांना एका महिलेने आपण ठाणे महापालिकेतून बोलत असल्याचे सांगितले. तसेच, त्यांचे नाव व राहत असलेला पत्ता सांगून त्या महिलेने पहिली खातरजमा केली. तसेच, त्यांना त्यांच्या मृत्यूचा दाखला तयार असल्याचे सांगण्यात आले. त्यावेळी त्यांना काही क्षणासाठी धक्का बसला. पण, त्यातून ते सावरून मॅडम मी जिवंत आहे. मीच आपल्याशी बोलत आहे, असे कथन केले. तेवढ्यात फोन ठेवण्यात आला.
देसाई हे काम संपल्यावर थेट ठाणे महापालिकेत येत कोविड सेंटर रूममध्ये गेले. व फोनबाबत संबंधित विभागाच्या वरिष्ठ महिला अधिकाऱ्यांना माहिती दिली व जिवंत असल्याचे सांगितले. तेव्हा त्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी आयसीएमआरमार्फत आलेल्या यादीप्रमाणे आपणास फोन करण्यात आल्याचे सांगितले. तसेच, त्या अधिकारी महिलेने देसाई यांना त्यांच्या मृत्यूच्या दाखल्याची प्रिंटही काढून दाखवली. त्यावेळी ते हबकलेच.
