Calgary Board of Education trustees pass new renaming policy for schools
The Calgary Board of Education passed a new renaming policy for schools at Tuesday s board meeting. But the new policy was not endorsed unanimously. Trustees Richard Hehr and Julie Hrdlicka said the 5,000 signatures required for a renaming petition to be considered by trustees was too high.
