24-year-old convicted in 2020 murder of man who was shot while driving on east Birmingham roadway
Charza Jamal Knight was initially charged with capital murder in the April 13, 2020, slaying of Cordai Deone Molette. A Jefferson County jury found Knight guilty of the lesser charge of felony murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
