State Street resident treated to get-well picnic
BATAVIA â Itâs been a tough few weeks for Carol Grasso â knee replacement surgery, a broken femur and a positive case of COVID-19. There was some light at the end of the tunnel Friday, though â a picnic put together in front of her State Street residence by her friends. Grasso said the knee replacement came first. Later, when she broke her femur and went to Highland Hospital for surgery, she said she was negative for COVID-19. When she was tested a couple of days later, she was positive. She said those who donât think COVID-19 is real are wrong.
