Nigeria Rearrests Ex-Convict For Trafficking Cocaine, Others, Discovers Over 4,700kg Cannabis Hidden In Gas Tanker

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted 4,752kg of cannabis concealed in a 40-ft gas tanker in the Federal Capital Territory.   The agency said it also arrested an ex-convict currently undergoing trial for another drug offence after being found with cocaine and some other illicit drugs.   It was learnt that NDLEA operatives intercepted the tanker with registration number RBC77XG during a stop-and-search operation along the Abuja-Abaji highway on Wednesday, May 1.
