BERKELEY – After having its last two games postponed, the Cal women's basketball team returns to action on Sunday, hosting the Oregon Ducks at 1:00 p.m. at Haas Pavilion. Sunday's contest between the Golden Bears and Ducks will be televised on the Pac-12 Network with Ann Schatz and Mary Murphy calling the action live. Fans can also follow along via live stats at Statbroadcast.com.
The Wildcats, Buffs and North Carolina are the only perfect teams in the country.
In its conference opener, Cal was not able to overcome the absence of key players.
On Friday, Dec. 31st, the legitimacy of this Cal team will be tested under its first Pac-12 trial as it opens its conference schedule in Pullman, Washington, against Washington State.
Not only did Cal women's basketball emerge victorious, 73-55, but it did so in a way that shows real growth and improvement.
