The Reform of Vocational Education Programme (RoVE) has announced that Alastair Carruthers has stepped down from his role as the Chair of the Services interim Establishment Board (iEB) effective from the 10 February 2021; however, he has agreed to stay on as a board member.

His decision to stand down as Chair has been based on wanting to dedicate more time to his new business venture, Homeland NZ Enterprises.
