无论是耗资20亿元历时4年的龙潭水乡，还是总投资50亿元、占地32000亩的杨店卓尔小镇，在项目落地之初风光无限，如今却成为“失败”典型案例。
其中，龙潭水乡以清明上河图为噱头，规划设计却仿照周庄、乌镇，而主街用《红楼梦》的金陵十二钗命名，街上又有晚清民国风景雕塑，定位“混乱”。其投资商正是房企上海裕都投资
（集团）有限公司。
由于卓尔在进入杨店镇以前并未涉及农业生态文化旅游产业，在打造该项目的过程中，总规划和详规一直在不断变化，最终导致项目失败，最后只建设了700亩桃花景区。 ....

　　据悉，即墨温泉田横运动休闲特色小镇是海尔在青岛打造的第一个运动休闲主题特色小镇。根据规划，小镇总面积4.1平方公里。2019年10月信息显示，相关部门已完成土地组卷初步工作，项目开工前准备工作正在有序推进。
　　形成落差的是，今年年初，有消息指向，2019年签约的水上运动嘉年华项目（小镇组成部分），至今没有任何进展。政府相关部门则回复道：“这个项目我们现在还在商谈中，因为存在资金及其他一些问题，项目还没落地。”
