Ada Township has announced plans for the expansion of public park land. On Monday, the township’s Board of Trustees acquired land on the western shore of Thornapple River.
Following the summer season, construction will begin on a near-replica of the historic building.
The Ottawa Beach General Store, located at 2256 Ottawa Beach Road near Holland State Park in Park Township, will be torn down after this summer. But those involved in the project are assuring the community the General Store will remain the same.
