The development came during the Question Hour in the first sitting when a starred question raised by Congress MLA Tushar Chaudhary, who is a tribal, was taken up for discussion.
Protests erupted in the Gujarat Assembly after Congress MLA Tushar Chaudhary sought to know details about a fake government office detected in Chhota Udepur under the Tribal Development Department.
Modi added that the Opposition had also "mocked at" him for "pledging to build toilets in a Red Fort speech" as they had "no sensitivity" to the troubles that women faced in the absence of toilets.
VADODARA: Around 108 liquor bottles worth Rs 56,160 were found in car which had a sticker of ‘deputy mamlatdar and executive magistrate’ pasted on it in Chhota Udepur district on Tuesday.
Police said that they noticed a car suspiciously parked on Chhota Udepur-Bodeli road near Devaliya village on Tuesday. Along with the liquor bottles, a mobile phone was also found under the driver’s seat.
“The car has been seized and we are trying to ascertain the owner’s detail. The phone and sim card are also being investigated for the call details,” said a police official.
Whether the car was owned by a government official or not will be known only after the owner’s details are obtained from the RTO.
