Community celebrates opening of park named for retired assistant police chief
south county — The Ocean View Hills neighborhood in southern San Diego is finally home to a long-awaited community park, named after a retired assistant police chief who grew up in the South Bay and became the San Diego Police Department’s highest-ranking Filipino-American.
