WEATHERSFIELD — A township police officer, who also trains police dogs, has been placed on unpaid administrative leave after being charged with a misdemeanor count of falsification. David Blosser III, 50, 3069 Durst Clagg Road NE, Bazetta, was indicted Wednesday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. The charge is not related to his duties as a police officer, according to a written statement from Weathersfield police Chief Michael Naples Jr. No information on the charge was given.
