According to police, an unknown man tried to lure an 11-year-old boy along Washington Church Road in Rayne Township around 4 p.m.
Court heard a man met the Quinte West youth via a popular online game in 2018. They began exchanging nude photos and videos of themselves via the game and messaging apps.
The man was charged with sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and child luring on Oct. 25, Surrey RCMP said in a Thursday news release.
In late October the Kawartha Lakes Police Service launched an investigation into alleged sexual offences involving a youth. The investigation led to the arrest of a man on Nov. 22.
