A defense attorney for Jorge Carbello, the last remaining defendant in the Hollywood Hills nursing home manslaughter case, argued Friday that the state’s case against the former administrator should be dismissed.
Jorge Carballo, 64, is scheduled for trial on 12 aggravated manslaughter charges following the deaths of residents at his nursing home in 2017.
