A dozen tents, housing around 100 migrants, were dismantled in the town of St. Georgen im Attergau, in a dispute with Austrian authorities about housing for migrants.
Austria has still not found a solution to a lack of accommodation for thousands of asylum seekers, after negotiations between the federal and state governments on Wednesday failed to reach an agreement.
The needs of refugees from Ukraine as well as of neighbouring countries are constantly increasing.
