A snow leopard born Friday at Seneca Park Zoo will be raised by zoo staff rather than by the cub’s mother, 4-year-old Timila, the zoo and Monroe County announced Saturday. “Although Timila gave birth in her nest box and appeared to be caring for the cub in the morning, it became clear that animal care staff needed to intervene at the end of the day.
