citi: Citi to step up hiring at India in-house centres, says head HR Sara Wechter
Citigroup plans to hire over 5,000 people at its captive technology centres in India over the next two years, increasing its total headcount to more than 32,000. The US bank will focus on areas including engineering, AI and analytics. The bank recently sold its consumer banking business in India, but says the technology and analytics operations are critical to its global digital strategy.
