Upon the recommendation of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud ordered on Monday the extension of the Citizen Account Program in its current framework until the end of 2024. The directive includes a one-year extension of the additional support to the program’s beneficiaries, as well as the continuation of the program’s registration process.

The foundation is to be chaired by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman and consists of the following members.

The Saudi government discussed on Tuesday the latest developments related to joint committees between the Kingdom and several countries. The ministers reviewed the signing of memoranda of understanding between Riyadh and these countries with the aim of developing cooperation in all fields to achieve joint interests and boost relations. The program's Director General of Communications Abdullah Al-Hajri said that assistance granted to beneficiaries since the launch of the program amounts to SAR185 billion. Al-Hajri underlined that 75% of beneficiaries received support during December, adding that the average amount per family stands at SAR1,481.
