Here are banks that have revised fixed deposit interest rates in August and are offering interest rates up to 8.6% for regular citizens.
The bank is offering general public with interest at a rate of 4.00 percent to 8.60 percent, and senior citizens at a rate of 4.50 percent to 9.10 percent.
In the case of senior citizens, for an amount less than ₹2 crore, for a period of 5 years, the rate of interest currently stands at 9.59 per cent. For general FD investors, who don't come under the senior citizens' category, the rate of interest stands at 9.01 per cent.
