Roundtable: Your opinion of criminal justice reform law? Galesburg Register-Mail Reset needed; law needs refined This law has flaws. This bill is sloppy and needs some cleaning up. One of which is not funding the cost of all law enforcement having body cams. Body cams are needed. But they are expensive AND the cost of all that data storage is very high. Fund the cams. I am sure some federal dollars can be found for that. Look, the feds are giving law enforcement MRAP and Humvee vehicles ($100,000.00 to $870,000.00 a pop). I am sure some fed money can assist in this cause.
