TO ENFORCE THE LAW DURING AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY. VICKI: THE LMPD CHIEF IS DEFENDING HER DECISION OF FIRING OFFICERS AT HER PREVIOUS JOB IN ATLANTA. IVORY STREETER AND MARK GARDNER WERE FIRED AFTER VIDEO SHOWED THEY PULLED OVER A PAIR OF COLLEGE STUDENTS. OFFICIALS SAY THEY TASTE THEM AND DRAG THEM OUT OF THE CAR. THE OFFICER SAY THEY WERE NOTIFIED THEY WERE BEING FIRED 20 MINUTES BEFORE BEING IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED. THE BOARD DECIDED THE DEPARTMENT IS REQUIRED TO GIVE THEM 10 DAYS NOTICE MORE ABOUT THEM TO ISSUE A RESPONS
