Brewster Fire begins manning station 24 hours
The Independent BREWSTER With the start of the new year, Brewster Fire Department's newly renovated station is now staffed 24 hours a day. Officials announced their plans in 2018 to seek tax dollars to redo the station, improve firefighter safety and eventually provide round-the-clock service. Now with the final touches being put on the improved station, Fire Chief Chris Colucy is excited to move into the next phase of the department's future.
