Kerry convent closes after 161 years – 'The nuns gave up their lives to help people'
When the Sisters of St Clare, more commonly known as the Poor Clares, announced in February they are to leave Kenmare after 161-years of educational and spiritual service, it set in train a time of sadness and fond reminiscing for Caitrìona O’Neill.
