Arboretum receives nesting boxes
The Crommelin Native Arboretum at Pearl Beach has received nesting boxes for brushtail possums, sugar gliders, pygmy possums, parrots, microbats and the glossy black cockatoo.
They were paid for by the Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (Wires) with the support of Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch and built by the Men's Shed under the direction of Central Coast zone coordinator Mr Ray Crawley.
Arboretum president Ms Victoria Crawford said University of Sydney PhD candidate Ms Vivianna Miritis was helping the Arboretum with the nesting boxes.
