EDWARDSVILLE A St. Peters, Missouri man has been charged with firing a gun at another person in Alton in April.
Deonta J. Williamson, 21, of St. Peters, Missouri, was charged June 8 with aggravated discharge of a firearm, a Class 1 felony.
The case was presented by the Alton Police Department.
According to court documents, on April 19 Williamson allegedly fired a gun at another person.
Bail was set at $100,000.
Other felony charges filed June 8 include:
• Brandie A. Brown, 35, of East Alton, was charged with aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony; and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor. The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. On June 3 Brown allegedly threw a family or household member who was 60 or older to the floor, threw them on a bed and compressed their chest. Bail was set at $50,000. ....

EDWARDSVILLE Two people face multiple felony charges stemming from an investigation into stolen car parts by Madison and Clinton county officials.
James D. Lautz II, 30, of Troy, and Kelsey T. McClelland, 32, of Washington Park, were both charged with aggravated unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle parts, both Class 1 felonies, and three counts each of unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle parts, all Class 2 felonies.
The cases were presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, on Jan. 8 the two allegedly were in possession of stolen catalytic converters from numerous vehicles. The parts had been stolen from cars in Pocahontas. ....
