Giant wal-mart billions. the class action case is huge, being brought by at least 5,000 women. now the court must decide is that too big? we re joined by justice correspondent pete williams. let s start about what this case is and what it isn t. the supreme court is not going to decide if wal-mart actually discriminated, right? reporter: right. this is the question of whether the case should go to trial at all. the women filed. they were certified as a class. a small number of women originally sued as a class action. meaning lots of women together firing a single lawsuit against wal-mart. but that class could grow to over a million and a half class members. all women currently. at one time whoever worked for wal-mart since the case was filed more than ten years ago. is it too big, too unwieldly? wal-mart says these are women in all kinds of different jobs at wal-mart who worked at different ....
