Architects and designers recognized for creative use of color and glass in design projects
The main challenge in the design of the duplex façade was the high aesthetical performance that the façade had to meet.
The space of a city should belong to everyone. Architecture, sunshine, nature and fresh air should be shared in harmony to create a convenient, comfortable and humanized environment for living and travel.
Strips of Spanish limestone and curtainwall alternate to create a visually interesting façade for Portland’s new 17-story Multnomah Courthouse.
The project adopts 7 layers of 15mm low iron SGP laminated glass, with a maximum size of 12m and the each glass weight about 5.6 tons.
