Navy looks to reduce water volume pumped from Red Hill shaft into Halawa Stream
The Navy has begun reducing the amount of water being flushing from its Red Hill shaft and into the Halawa Stream by almost half. And so far, so good. The Conversation spoke to a NAVFAC official about what more is being done to make sure no other contaminants make it into our aquifer.
