Customers, former employees claim they've been left thousands of dollars out of pocket by Hawke's Bay businessman

Anne and Matt Grantham shared their experience of dealings with Hawke’s Bay businessman Andrew Wright on social media and were shocked to be inundated with messages from other customers who said they never received what they paid for.
From Auckland to Invercargill, customers and former employees claim they have been left thousands of dollars out of pocket by a Hawke’s Bay businessman.
Customers have told
Stuff that Andrew Wright, who owns AJ Trailers and Trailer Design, has received deposits of between $2000 and $14,000 for trailers and horse floats that then never arrived.
When
Stuff approached Wright, he said there were supply disruptions getting parts for some trailers because of Covid-19. He said all affected customers had been informed. ....
