(KMIZ) Columbia police officers arrested a Jefferson City woman suspected of an early morning arson on Claudell Lane. Alruekia R. Brown-Wells, 30, was booked into the Boone County Jail on suspicion of multiple charges on Monday. A Columbia Police Department news release said officers responded to the Columbia Square Apartments in the 1000 block of Claudell Lane in connection to a disturbance around 3:20 a.m. Brown-Wells is suspected of setting a fire to the outside of the residence, police said in the release.
