SEATTLE -- Husky Men's Tennis takes to the Nordstrom Tennis Center courts for the first time this fall starting tomorrow, Oct. 22, as the ITA Northwest Super Regionals bring in the region's top players. The tournament starts at 9 a.m. on Friday and runs through til Monday, Oct. 25.
TULSA, Okla. – Junior Clement Chidekh saw his run at the ITA All-American Championships come to an end in the semifinals this morning at Tulsa's Michael Case Tennis Center. The first Husky to make the semifinals of the tournament since 2003, Chidekh beat four ranked players in three days in his first collegiate tourney, but he fell in straight sets today to Florida's Ben Shelton.
TULSA, Okla. – For the first time since 2003, a Husky is through to the round of 16 in singles at the ITA All-American Championships, the first of three national individual tournaments on the college tennis calendar. Clement Chidekh posted a straight-set win for the second consecutive day at the Case Tennis Center, reaching the round of 16 in his first collegiate tourney of any kind.
TULSA, Okla. -- Clement Chidekh opened his second Husky season in style today with a first round win in the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships, defeating a Pac-12 rival as well. The All-Pac-12 First Teamer is through to the round of 32 in the national singles tourney with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Jonas Eriksson Ziverts of Arizona, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa.
