UK's COP26 regional ambassador for Asia-Pacific and South Asia Ken O' Flaherty while speaking at the WION Climate Summit said that having net-zero targets is not enough. "It's impossible to say that one country is suffering more than others," he said.  He was a panel member at the first edition of WION's annual Climate Summit the theme of which was 'Climate Calling: The last chance to answer climate emergency'. "The increasing global temperatures are having devastating on ecosystems and biodiversity worldwide." 

Climate Change can deprive us from basic needs, the Editor-In-Chief and CEO of WION Sudhir Chaudhary warned as he kicked off the first climate summit of the global news channel. The theme of the summit was 'Climate Calling: The last chance to answer climate emergency'. "It's my honour to welcome you all in WION's first climate summit but not the last," he said at the outset.

WION Climate Summit, held on March 15, brought together leading voices from across the globe to discuss the singular threat to humankind: Climate Change.
