Lubbock Fire Rescue was called to a structure fire at North Slide Road and Clovis Highway, near the city limits, on Saturday afternoon.

Body of Missing 78-Year-old Man Found Behind Lubbock Bingo Hall The body of a missing Lubbock man was found the morning of Friday, December 18th. A search party had been formed to locate 78-year-old Ysabel Flores, who was last seen almost a week prior. KAMC News reports that Lubbock Police officers responded to a possible deceased individual in the 3600 block of Clovis Road at around 9:48 a.m. The body wasn't immediately identified, but after it was sent to the Lubbock County Medical Examiner's Office, it was confirmed to have belonged to Flores. Lubbock police on Friday were investigating the death of a 78-year-old man whose body was found in north Lubbock nearly a week after he was reported missing. Police officials confirmed on Friday that a body found in the 3800 block of Clovis Road was that of Ysabel Flores. Flores was last seen about 9 a.m. Dec. 12 at his residence in the 3100 block of Auburn Street.
