While Don Braid makes some valid points about UCP’s foibles, the blame for Alberta’s problems must not be laid only at the feet of Jason Kenney. While this province sits on billions of dollars of the most responsibly produced oil in the world, the feds prefer to see oil imported. The world is changing and going green. But as long as oil is still being used, and global estimates are forecasting usage will increase by five per cent over the next couple of years, why would Canada turn its back on Alberta?
