Cab Drivers: In an incident in October last year, a pizza delivery man in Pune, Maharashtra, was assaulted and threatened by firing in the air by an angry customer due to late arrival of the pizza at his doorstep. "According to the data, 41.5% of the delivery persons reported that they have faced some kind of violence at work. 64% do not get support from companies when faced with violence," the findings of the survey report claimed.
The Maharashtra CM took on Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge who had alleged that the BJP would change the constitution after the 2024 elections. The Congress president was responding to remarks made by BJP MP Ananat Kumar Hegde.
The move comes after Manohar Lal Khattar, along with the entire Cabinet, submitted their resignations to Governor Bandaru Dattatreya in Haryana as alliance between the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state reached a breaking point, as reported by PTI sources.
Developmental Projects: The projects span multiple sectors, including railway infrastructure, connectivity, and petrochemicals, with the key highlights being sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor project and the Petrochemicals complex of Petronet LNG at Dahej.
