A major effort to revamp and upgrade the infrastructure at Banaras Hindu University is underway, focusing on better student amenities and optimal resource utilization. Edelweiss Alternatives has completed a Rs 6,000 crore deal to acquire L&T Infrastructure Development Projects (LTIDPL), a joint venture owned by L&T and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. The acquisition will give Edelweiss 100% ownership in the joint venture, which will include seven road assets and a 960 circuit km power transmission line.

Developmental Projects: The projects span multiple sectors, including railway infrastructure, connectivity, and petrochemicals, with the key highlights being sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor project and the Petrochemicals complex of Petronet LNG at Dahej.
